JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and creative UX Designer to join our innovation team. This role will be instrumental in designing user-centered solutions that enhance customer experiences and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding user needs, comfort with laying the initial groundwork needed to run this new functionality, a knack for practical problem-solving, and the ability to tell the story of complex ideas into intuitive and impactful designs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct and orchestrate customer research to lay the foundation for identify customer needs and pain points across multiple audiences.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and narratives to effectively communicate design intentions and align solutions with business goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed user journey maps to visualize and improve the end-to-end customer experience.
- Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to gather direct user feedback and refine product offerings.
- Facilitate ideation sessions and workshops, stimulating creative thinking and idea generation across teams.
- Work closely with development teams during the implementation phase to ensure designs are translated accurately into final products.
- Ensure designs are accessible and inclusive, meeting the needs of a diverse user base.
- Collaborate across functions with marketing, sales, and customer support to integrate user experience considerations into all aspects of the customer journey.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, educating team members and promoting UX best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field and/or related work experience.
- 8 years of experience in UX design, preferably in a tech or innovation-driven environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, user interface design, and user testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
