This position will be responsible for supporting the month-end close, analysis, and reconciliation. This position will be responsible for following and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform complex balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis for accounts with high risk, including preparing journal entries 
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and year end close responsibilities including, review of assigned business units and make necessary journal entries, investigate and report variances noted. 
  • Provide oversight on key international accounting and tax functions including month-end close, annual statutory audits 
  • Maintains multi-entity general ledgers in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company accounting policies and procedures 
  • Familiarity with intercompany transactions and foreign currency translation adjustments. 
  • Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to explain budget vs actual variances 
  • Support year-end audits by providing reporting and required documentation 
  • Assist in special projects as assigned or other tasks critical to the success of the organization 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Highly collaborative – team player
  • Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to multi-task and master new tasks quickly are essential.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred
  • Experience with Great Plains, a plus
  • Experience with eRecruit or Bullhorn, a plus
