We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Selenium Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and executing Manual and Automated Test Scripts for our software applications. You will work closely with business analysts, software architects and business stakeholders to insure comprehensive, flexible and accurate test scenarios. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with the Selenium testing framework, using C# as the test scripting language and Microsoft Azure to create automated CI/CD Pipelines, and have a passion for delivering quality software. Experience in pharma and clinical trials is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Test Scripting and Automation:

- Design manual and automated test scripts for our software applications, review your work with business analysts, software developers and architects, and incorporate their feedback
- Maintain and enhance the existing CI/CD Pipelines and Azure resources for our automated test scripts
- Execute manual and automated test scripts and document their results in our SDLC tools
- Contribute to software and testing design discussions and decisions, create level of effort estimates for your testing tasks, help drive the delivery of your projects to production on schedule
- Evaluate and prototype new testing solutions, including the learning and leveraging of new components, tools and technologies
- Collaboration:

- Continuously communicate with the team members and business partners in real-time, using Agile principles throughout the software development lifecycle to create, iterate, test and deploy test scripts
- Participate in the requirements management processes, following best practices to accurately gather, document, review and refine the full scope of user needs and functional requirements for the software components and applications under development, and develop a comprehensive suite of manual and automated tests to insure those requirements are met
- Elevate the capabilities of business stakeholders and analysts by sharing testing best practices, refining and improving software requirements, and enabling those stakeholders to contribute directly to the application testing process
- Data Quality and Governance:

- Follow industry standard best practices, including writing high quality test scripts, developing functional and performance tests, maximizing test automation, and utilizing end-to-end deployment pipelines to maintain a fast velocity
- An in-depth understanding of security and privacy best practices, to ensure compliance with all applicable data governance, regulatory and security standards
- Performance Optimization:

- Monitor and tune automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency, reduce latency and ensure uptime
- Anticipate, prevent, troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of experience in:
-
- Selenium Testing Framework using C#
- Web Application testing
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in:
-
- Azure Resources, CLI and Portal
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control tools
- Spira Plan (or equivalent tool) to document Test Cases and their Executions
- An in-depth understanding of:

- Data structures, algorithms, code organization, runtime complexity, APIs, and testing methodologies
- Application-level design patterns, the costs and benefits of each, and the ability to choose the correct approach to efficiently implement your tasks
- The ability to break down, plan and complete story-level testing and scripting tasks of up to 80 hours of estimated effort, with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to change direction, iterate, and adapt
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
