JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. NetSuite Administrator is responsible for optimizing our NetSuite platform through design, development, and testing of customizations, automations, and configurations. This role will also support critical business functions and provide enhanced administration aligned with best practices that enable stability, high-performance, and platform scalability. This individual will need to operate with proven technical and high administrative proficiency to implement system enhancements and drive business efficiencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain the NetSuite platform, including configuration, customization, user access, roles, permissions, and system security.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to define business needs and technical specifications.
- Evaluate current state, research, and implement effective solutions to achieve defined business or process objectives.
- Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and solution releases prior to migration to production.
- Create solutions and automated processes to streamline business operations across Finance, Accounting, and other departments.
- Provide support for NetSuite-related technical issues, working closely with end-users, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Lead the design and development of custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs, delivering insights to managers and executives to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure the integrity and performance of system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and patches, including overseeing testing and migration to production environments.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of NetSuite’s functionality, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system adoption.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, customizations, and integrations, ensuring clarity and continuity.
- Perform functional lead or system expert roles on NetSuite production and sandbox environments and related systems.
- Monitor system performance, resolve system issues, and create automated alerting processes for critical business functions.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytics for company financial information.
- Document business processes, system specifications, workflows, and technical architecture.
- Complete additional responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Training – not applicable.
- High proficiency in Customer Service with strong competencies in communication skills, problem solving abilities, empathy, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Project Management, Systems Implementation, and Systems Integration experience.
- Certification – NetSuite certifications such as NetSuite Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer highly desired
Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite.
- Extensive understanding of SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, Advanced PDF/HTML, XML
- Knowledge of API integration (SuiteTalk, REST, SOAP)
- Experience with data migration, customization, and complex system automation
- Familiar with SDLC procedures.
- Ability to work independently without a direct manager onsite.
- Experience with integrated applications that facilitate sales tax calculations, fixed asset management, expense management, reconciliation,
- Ability to work under pressure, deliver outcomes, and meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking, very detailed oriented, ability to plan, coordinate and prioritize multiple activities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
